Facts About Cats

Here is my own PERSONAL list of "facts about cats" .

You can search all day on whatever search engine you want and get fasts. I just thought I would share some that I have found out on my own just by having so many cats. Here we go...

1. Cats Are territorial.

I watch them all day long in the house and in the yard and they always stay within a certain distance from the house or where they live. They fight cats that are from different hoods , if you may, and defend the home front.

2. Cats have there own personalities.

I usually wait a month or so before naming my cats because they all have different personalities and behaviors and this does not show until they are at least a month old . maybe a little less. But I still like to wait. Then I will give them a name that fits there " personality" .

3. Cats do not have "9 lives" .

Do I need to write anything here? I mean really , They don't.

4. Cats and kitties will become un-happy and poop and pee every where else if the litter box if full.

Keep that litter box CLEAN. Trust me. I know. I see it all of the time. my cat pees on the floor or somewhere else....I check the litter box and ...BOOM. its full. I clean it out and they all resume normal bathroom check out spot!!! :)

5. Cats are very emotional.

I have 2 adult sister cats who have had kittens one cat had kittens and the other one tried have some.
So the cat that had them did her job and nursed them until she seen and felt they would survive. The other cat had kittens (after trying many times), and they all died. I could tell after that she was depressed. she didn't want to go outside, play or nothing. All of a sudden she started to "hang" out with hers sisters baby kittens. She started carrying them to certain spots in the house. Then, one day, she started NURSING them. yes. she nursed them and still does to this day.
So yes, cats are very Emotional.

6. Cats can remember their names

Cats do and will remember their names . I have had and still do have many cats and they all have different names . They all will look at me and come to me when I call them by their given name.
Its simple as this. All you do is when you give them their name you stick with it and make sure you call them by that name many times a day every day. At first you will see no results, but then all of a sudden one day when your "booboo" is asleep and you call your cat by its name and it opens its eyes and looks at you and starts walking to you, you will have a sense of achievement. You will also know from then on out that...hey, my cat know his/her name.

Best Flea Medicine For Cats in 2016

Hey guys. I have Cats and kittens and yes, they do get fleas. I hate it too. You see them scratching around and licking themselves constantly and it drives you nuts. It drives them nuts too.

Well what do ya do? You go and buy some cheap flea meds at Walmart and use it and ...Nothing happens. Do you know why nothing happens? Its because you went and bought the cheap stuff from Walmart. Here is an old saying that you should know. 'You get what you pay for". That is exactly the truth when it comes to buying Flea medication for cats. There is a Reason they put certain stuff in boxes at Walmart. What I mean by that is they had the cheap flea medication in a open box with a grab and go kinda deal and then they had the kind where it was locked into a box the cashier has to open for you when you get to the register/counter/sales clerk. Any of that stuff that they have in a plastic lock box is, " The best flea Medicine for cats". What did I buy? I bought " Pet Armor for Cats". The expensive stuff!!!! Buy it.

This Flea Medicine costed me around 30 bucks. Trust me, If you love your kitties and cats then buy it!! It does not have to be this name brand just get " the Good stuff " . Now as you can see , I still have one packet left out of three.
I have 6 cats .
Then well how or why do I have 1 packet left?
The reason is that the stuff is so good that I only had to use 2 dose's
on 2 kittens and the rest is history.
The other cats rub on , and hug each other then it spreads to the other cats and the fleas just drops and dies off of them as well.
You will not see results on this particular medicine immediately because it is like a plague to fleas. They get it, and transfer it to other fleas and yada yada yada...boom. it kicks in.

Another "METHOD" I have heard of but not yet tried is you buy Brewers yeast from the store and ad a teaspoon in the cats food and it repels fleas. They do not like the smell or something so the fleas stay away. It's called "BREWERS YEAST" .

Now I don't claim to know anything about the yeast but I do know about buy the real stuff as I mentioned above.

P.S. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE TINY TINY KITTENS FLEA MEDICINE. THESE ARE OLD PICS OF MY CATS. I GAVE THEM MED'S ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. THEY ARE 4 MONTHS OLD NOW .THESE CATS WAS A FEW WEEKS OLD AT THE TIME OF THE PICS.
